NICOLETTA AND SVAROOPA® YOGA

Yoga and Meditation have been my life companions for almost thirty years.

I started in 1994 in Milan, with Piera Scarabelli, a student of André Van Lysebeth. I then studied in the UK and the USA. In 2000 I discovered Svaroopa® Yoga - it was very different from the yoga styles practiced before, but I had finally found the same inner experience I had been looking for since I left my teacher in Italy. In ancient yoga texts this inner experience is called "svaroopa", the experience of one's own nature/essence.

In 2002 I decided to enroll in the Svaroopa® Yoga teacher training course. Since then I have been studying yoga and meditation under the direct guidance of Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati, founder of Svaroopa® Yoga and Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram. Since 2003 in Scotland and since 2017 in Italy, I have been offering regular yoga and meditation classes and workshops in English and Italian, while I continue to travel to the United States and India to study with my teacher and to deepen my practice.

This path started many years ago is continuously evolving and enriched day after day by sharing my experience and these very ancient and timeless teachings with my students.

Nicoletta is a certified Svaroopa® Yoga teacher and yoga therapist, registered with Yoga Alliance UK & Europe. She is also a certified Svaroopa® Vidya meditation teacher. From 2005-2017 she was the resident yoga instructor at Kohler Waters Spa and Old Course Resort and Spa in St. Andrews Scotland. She developed and taught an employee well-being programme at the University of St. Andrews, as well as introducing yoga to some Scottish secondary schools.

Since 2017 she has been offering lessons in Italy - in person in Milan, online and during the summer on the island of Stromboli both in English and Italian.
